This 1 Day course (6 Hours) delivers the perfect balance of theory and practical to give you the knowledge, understanding, confidence and skill to add Extreme Acrylic to your treatments and increase profits.
Any student who does not achieve the pass standard will be invited to repeat the course with no extra charge apart from products used.
Students must hold Manicure and a Tip Enhancement qualification. Copies or photographs of these will be be requested. A training kit is required. Students are allowed to work on themselves if a model is not available.
For all courses our manual will be forwarded to you to keep and refer too for years to come. Read through in your own time and answer the multi choice questions returning these to us with your student contract.
Subjects covered or revisited - Appearance, Presenting as a Professional, Health and Safety (It Matters), Liability, Insurance, COSHH, Salon Hygiene, Anatomy and Physiology Nails, Hands and Feet Disease and Disorders, Client Consultation, Nail Shapes Record card and GDPR.
As a qualified nail technician, you already have a foundation in theory and manicure procedures, such as cuticle and nail preparation, tip sizing, and correct application. The course will build upon this foundation and specifically cover the step-by-step application of Glass Glaze Fiberglass or Silk over a natural nail or a tip extension. You will also learn how to blend and finish the nails, perform nail extensions (free forming), remove the system, and provide maintenance, re-glazing, and re-glassing services. The course emphasizes product knowledge and techniques for controlling the product during application.
The training will be conducted in a one-to-one format, ensuring personalized attention. It can take place inside the trainer's salon, at your premises if the trainer has traveled to you, or via a video link where you can observe each other's work in real time. This flexible approach allows for effective learning and skill development.
A recognised qualification. Successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies, Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. This means that you will be able to gain your professional indemnity insurance with this certificate. This insurance will cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon. 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.
