Russian Lash Extension Training Course
There has been an increase in Eyelash extensions with in the last few years. The eyelash treatments have become more popular in the market and range from strip lashes to semi-permanent. Different looks can be achieved with a variety of techniques. Russian Volume is an advanced technique that creates amazingly full and gentle looking lashes by applying multiple fine lashes onto one single eyelash in a fanned shape. This Eyelash course covers you the essential skills to give you the knowledge, skill and confidence to offer a beautiful service. During the course you will be expected to meet certain requirements, produce case studies (where applicable) Any student who does not achieve the pass standard will be invited to repeat the course with no extra charge apart from products used.
The Individual Lash course is a pre-requisite to take this course. Students are required to work on a practice head and each other (if you are the only student booked on the course you will need to bring a model). Students must be at least 16 years of age. Our student kit is required.
The trainers own Health & safety policies are covered in all courses. For Salon and Online Courses. Download our course manual and in your own time read through the contents and be ready to answer the multi choice questions on the following. Direct Beauty Supplies - A Brief History, Appearance - Presenting as a professional, Health and Safety (It matters), Liability Insurance, COSHH, Salon Hygiene, Anatomy and Physiology, Contra-Indications, Contra- Actions, Client Consultation, Record Cards and GDPR.
Once the theory has been covered and understood you will spend most of the course enjoying practicing the practical steps. Equipment and Products, Introduction, Preparation of the client, Application of Russian Eyelashes, Creating 3D Fans, Eyelash Maintenance, Aftercare, Removal of Eyelash Extensions. This will be taught face to face either inside the trainers salon, on your premises if the trainer has travelled to you or via video where you can watch eachother work in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there will be case studies and images needed to assess your progress.
A recognised qualification. All successful students will be awarded a Professional Certification by Direct Beauty Supplies Accreditation: ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) which will be nationally recognised within the Nail industry. This means that you will be able to gain your professional indemnity insurance with this certificate. This insurance will cover you to work from home, mobile or in a salon. 10% discount through Direct Beauty Supplies.
We can help with kits or if you prefer source your own. The kit you use must contain the products to cover the complete course.

Once you have your manual you can start immediately, if you've purchased a training kit it will arrive with you with 2-5 working days, work through the manual at your own pace, answer the multiple choice questions and get ready for the practical work! Email your quiz answers to me and we’ll move on to the next step.
You will work through the Step by Steps for your course with your trainer via video where you can watch each other work in real time following instruction with supporting close up photographs and images. In all scenarios there will be case studies and images needed to assess your progress. Once passed you will receive your certificate and Beauty Website (Backscratchers Students Only)
For Fast Tract Students:- Following the instructions you will photograph each stage and send via email to us, our training manager will access your work and either pass or offer advice if there needs to be an adjustment
